- Editor's Notes
- "One day last week I went over to Seligmanns & Mr DS {David Seligman] said he would let me know something definite through you in a day or so. In case you see this before seeing me go over to Seligmanns and find out what they are going to do." Thinks Edison made a mistake giving Seligman 60 days to decide whether to purchase license for chemical telegraph improvement. Insull has other interested parties ready to negotiate, which he is anxious about. Asks Tomlinson to press Seligman for an answer so something can be accomplished before TAE returns: notes that "Jim Russell is off on a drunk again; he came to my House this a.m. stinking full & the only way I could get rid of him was to give him money." updated tc 2/22/2012
