- [Letterhead: Edison Electric Light System] "Thanks for yours of the 2nd inst." More on the mine from D8546S. Tate is in on it but without investing money. "As soon as they develop the mine they will want to sell out or form a company . . . And we can come in for it then." "The various Edison attaches are making quite a run on Europe this season. I suppose Kruesi goes over to 'catch his health.' " Tate hopes the company will transfer him when his contract expires. Says company has had difficulty lately and he is willing to take a lower position. A good letter on company gossip.
