[LETTERHEAD: The Great North Western Telegraph Co. of Canada] Acknowledges Insull's note of the 21st enclosing check for $100; reports that he found the source of trouble on the line for demonstrating the phonoplex; urges Insull to visit his "widow" in New York who "carries a six shooter and has informed me she would bore a hole in a man she loved who did not reciprocate her affection!!"; promises to send Insull info on canoes. Very colorful personal information on Tate.
