[LETTERHEAD: Rossin House, Toronto] "I have yours of 11th re pass on C.P.R. for your brother and wife; have friends in Ottawa that ought to be able to provide pass; will be in Ottawa in two days and will advise; friend, Baron von Hugel, late mayor of Port Hope, wants to give TAE, when he arrives, a dinner at Toronto Club to meet leading gentlemen; Von Hugel is putting TAE and Tate up at the Club; hasn't heard from the "Widow."
