- [LETTERHEAD: Rossin House, Toronto] Exhibited phonoplex system between Toronto and Port Hope to Dwight Friday afternoon; he wired Wiman that result was "very fair." Installed new coil in Port Hope and will go to office to test it; Yesterday Port Hope operator said signal was loudest in beginning, but remained loud enough throughout. Tate thinks stronger batteries might help. Will write again tomorrow.
