- Porter, one of the richest and most enterprising men in Chicago, is interested in our arrangement and pledges cooperation with Simmons; in communication to C.P. Bowditch, Dec. 20, 1884, you noted that applications became the property of Bergmann Co. on its formation, the co. assuming the expenses; were the applications conveyed to Bergmann Co. by formal assignment?; in drafting contract should we deal with you as agent for Bergmann Co. or of individuals Edison, Bergmann & Johnson; send copies of Bell Co.'s carbon point patents or reference number.
