Draft contract between TAE, as agent for himself, Bergmann, and E.H. Johnson, and Zalman G. Simmons; in return for $5,000, Simmons received sole charge and management of "discoveries, inventions, and improvements" in transmission of articulate speech over wires as specified in certain patent applications for the purpose of making experiments aimed at further improvements to ready telephone for commercial use.
