- [D8613E], Letter from Joseph W Balet to Thomas Alva Edison, May 19th, 1886
- Editor's Notes
- I beg leave to address myself to you for a situation. ##I have worked 4 years in an instrument establishment, have had a theoretical education as mechanical engineer, and I am thoroughly acquainted with 5 languages and have made mechanical experiments. ##I have made the voyage from Europe to labor under your direction and I hope you can use me in any branch of your extended enterprises, while an arrangement for the wages will not occasion much difficulty. ##I assure you that all my endeavours will be to satisfy you, as I have ever done to my principals, which I can testify with references. [Insull Marg.]: Bergmann ##TAE thought this man might be useful to you.
