- The municipal system is demanding immediate attention. Vail will send you notice of a meeting to be held at my office some day this week to definitely settle upon a proper cut out. I hope you can come to it and that you will know enough about the new lamp cut out by that time to advise as to its adoption. I am informed that the Lamp Factory is sending these new lamps out (to Portland) in advance of instructions so to do, and that complications have arisen by consequence. This should not be permitted.
