- Title
- [D8621G], Letter from William Preston Hix to Thomas Alva Edison, June 16th, 1886
- Editor's Notes
- The enclosed card explains itself. I have sent Col. Miles the letter asked for. I would be pleased if you would see him a few minutes, as his father is a wealthy and influential man here and he is a great friend of Loney[? Tony?] Drexel and G.N.[?] Childs and he has helped me with the City Council and shown me many kindnesses. So see the son so I may keep his father to help me with this infernal council.
