- Editor's Notes
- I have succeeded in purchasing for you two deers at a cost of $25.00 from the proprietor of the Park Hotel. [He] thinks he will have them ready for shipment about the first or the tenth of July. If you have any special instructions in regard to the shipments, let me hear from you. ##I am experiencing much difficulty in having my orders for lamps filled. Knowing that you have charge of Upton's affairs during his absence, I would like to ask you if there is any good reason why we should not receive our goods promptly? I am entirely out of 16 and 20 cp lamps, although the latter size has been ordered since April 26. I have just written the company under this date charging the office with being slack in their duties. Be kind enough to give the matter your personal attention.
