Title
[D8627M1], Letter from Akron Iron Co to Edison Shafting Manufacturing Co, May 3rd, 1886
Editor's Notes
[Letterhead of Akron iron Co., with paper pasted over it advertising Patent Calendered Flats and Squares] We have just had the pleasure of a visit from TAE. We understand from him that the arrangements heretofore existing between you and the Cold Rolled Shafting Manufacturers are dissolved, or about to be dissolved, and that you are now in a position to consider selling our shafting in its stead. TAE requested us to make you quotations, but as our Mr. Boyden is now in your city, we have instructed him to call upon you in order that a better understanding may be arrived at through the medium of a detailed personal interview.
