Title
[D8630A], Letter from D Monnier to Thomas Alva Edison, January 2nd, 1886
Editor's Notes
Received yours of Dec. 4. I will be happy to give you a detailed account of our installation in Vienna as soon as it is working, but people are much slower here than in the U.S., and we still have to contend with formalities. ##Meanwhile, I can give you some details on the general arrangement of the Station, which is based on upon the use of accumulators. ##[Gives long (3 page) and detailed description of station, dynamos, engines, batteries, how hope to reduce loss of energy, etc., including a sketch.] ##"I think the foregoing details can give you an idea of the general arrangement we have adopted." Will complete description and provide with working data as soon as station is complete.
