Title

[D8630ZAL], Letter from Compagnie Continentale Edison to Thomas Alva Edison, May 7th, 1886

Editor's Notes

Reply to yours of April 19. Before all that, we have many other things yet in suspense with you, which could be settled altogether if you would answer one of Mr. Siegel's letters. ##As regards the claim of Dyer & Seely, the first thing we find is that it is so exaggerated, as indeed he asks $50 a day; besides that, we are of the opinion that this matter refers to facts from a long time before the constitution of our Society, as you are well aware, and we will see only in some time hence whether this document will be of any use to sustain our French patents and we will then write to you again.
