- Title
- [D8630ZCB], Letter from Foreign Pilsen Electric Light and Power Co Ltd, Charles Akers to Thomas Alva Edison, July 8th, 1886
- Editor's Notes
- [Three-pages from London] Recalls TAE's conversation with Dillwyn Parish approx one year ago, in which TAE said Pilsen lamp was good but too expensive for U.S. market. Have devoted energy to this question and now have improved and cheaper Pilsen lamp for about two pounds apiece in quantity. Drawing sent separately; will send patterns if desired. Interested in doing U.S. business for Pilsner, either on royalty or purchase of patent? If interested, can arrange interview with one of the directors [Parish, now in NYC] Parrish's letter on same subject isD8630ZCB.
