- [Four page handwritten letter, Essex House (Salem, Massachusetts) letterhead] Favor was duly received. Received information on young lady who resides with her sister in Springfield. Met Tomlinson and Kitchell at Adams House. Gave them a card to a girl at the South End. Marchants Store Railway Co want to meet and offered to send a representative to Boston. Fisher will probably call you first. Want to see what will come of it. Will be in Lawrence on Saturday, Hampton Beach, N.H. on Sunday, and away the rest of July.
