- Six page typed proposed plan of reorganizing the Edison Ore Milling Co Ltd. Edison contract begain in Jan 1880. Appeared that separating iron from maganetic sands was a success, but found difficulty in smelting the ore after it had been separated, resulting in the company uncable to develop business. Funds extremely low, meaning that additional experimentation was impossible. Affairs at a standstill but Edison confident that with more money, progress could be made. He submitted propositions to board of directors, who seemed to find them fair and in the interest of stockholders.
