Title

[D8637Y], Letter from Dyer and Seely to William Symes Andrews, September 24th, 1886

Editor's Notes

English patent to Harrison No. 3470 (1878) describes secondary system using alternating current dynamo and induction coils; {quotes from patent about the arrangement of a series of coils}; "if you work the system up and give us full data we might get some valuable claims, ie., on gradual reduction of tension, which Harrison doesn't mention, and on multiple arc arrangment of sub-converters from main converter."
