Have secured allowances on two lamp cases on these claims: 1) In incandescent lamp: combination of exhausted glass enclosing globe and carbon filament secured to metallic wires; globe sealed directly on wires; 2) In incandescent lamp: combination of exhausted glass enclosing globe and loop-shaped carbon filament within, having ends secured to parallel wires; globe sealed on one side directly on wires; 3) method of manufacturing incandescent lamp by attaching carbon filament to leading in wires, inserting same in glass globe and sealing it on wires;###Case filed 5 Oct. 1886; Your application record now complete; can put it in your hands by week's end; enclose copy of patent just issued to Dolbear.
