Editor's Notes
"In clearing up the matter in connection with the joint sale of Edison-Bell interests in Oriental Co. a small company was formed called the Domestic [?] Tel. Co. which was liquidated sometime in 1884. The assets were divided 2/5 to Edison 2/5 to Bell and 1/5 to the [illegible]"; what amount did TAE get?; Some of our friends claim an interest in the amount I received and in order to settle this I wrote to you so whatever amount Mr. Edison received is the same as our share."
