TAE's assignment of rights and interests in telephone patents taken out in Australia and New Zealand to Oriental Telephone Co. "In consideration of the agreement" that Western Electric will send someone to Australia to set up telephone exchanges in the principal cities and will include Mr. Jeffray of Melbourne and Mr. McGrath of Brisbane [both unidexed] in the telephone exchange business in Australia, TAE agrees to give them exclusive rights to his telephone patents in Australia for $1 royalty per year on each instrument.
