- Since Tomlinson and Dyer's opinion is that TAE's title under the electric pen patent is valid, as soon as A.B. Dick can gain a license under it, the company can initiate suits against patent infringers, particularly Cyclostyle. Dick asks Edison to make a proposition for his consideration. [Letter is very faint to the point of illegibility. This note provides the gist only].
