- Editor's Notes
- Thanks for your letter; again, would you write a 2000 word article on lightning rods for our magazine The Swiss Cross [see D8704ABH]; the problem is not that scientists doubt the efficacy of the rods but that the public, though fear, does; can the question be resolved: do lightning rods render buildings safe during an electrical storm? Also, what is the best sort of rod and how should it be applied and grounded so an intelligent farmer or mechanic could erect his own or be able to supervise the work: If you're too busy would you allow your opinions expressed in your letter of yesterday to be printed; enclosing a copy of the magazine.
