Title
[D8704ACI], Letter from William Augustus Croffut to Thomas Alva Edison, September 1st, 1887
Editor's Notes
[Letterhead: The Washington Post] Returning to Washington this week or a week or two later. You asked me to bring Mrs. C. out to the Park and stay all night sometime in Oct. (when the laboratory is open), but will be at work on the paper then; will you let us come now and spend the afternoon and to stay the night or not as is convenient to Mrs. Edison? "I am writing a syndicate letter for 25 papers and wish to make a letter--besides which it is desirable that we should talk a little more about the phonograph."
