TAE enclosed cable from Col. Gourand in reference to lodging provisional specification in connection with phonograph. TAE asks Dyer to look into matter, and, if he thinks it alright, to send the following cablegram to "NOSIDE, LONDON. All right; expect to send Hamilton first of year with half-dozen machines." TAE instructs to send above message along with attached cablegram to the Sup't of the Direct U.S. Cable Co., L't'd.
