Title

[D8719AAE], Letter from Ezra Torrance Gilliland to Samuel Insull, January 21st, 1887

Editor's Notes

[William Leslie; Tommy Jr; TAE family] Mr. Edison owes N. A. Benner & Co. $305.47, a little more than half of which was paid out for articles purchased as accomodation t ous; the balance is freight and insurance. ## I have kept all of my freight and supplies separate from Edison's shipping in my own name and paying my own bills as far as possible. There are however some articles included in bills charged against Edison at Ba{--]mann Bros. - belonging to me. All other articles purchased for Edison with one or two exceptions (small articles) have been purchased from parties with whom he has open accounts, such as Eimer & Amend, Gess[----] & Co. and [--------------]. ## it has been decided that the two little boys will go to Florida; they will travel half fare. This will make five (5) full fares or $3[--].00, which together with above amount will be all the cash we will require. Please send check at once. ## Edison is very much better.
