Title
[D8732AAE], Letter from William Symes Andrews to John H Vail, February 2nd, 1887
Editor's Notes
"When I made out the enclosed list for you, I was under the impression that Mr. Edison had made over to the Edison Co all the Apparatus in Testing Room, but from Mr. Edgar's letter I must conclude that this was not so -- ## I must therefore divide the articles enumerated in Mr. Dickinson's printed list into three classes. ## 1st Those articles that were brought to the testing room from Mr. Edison's Laboratory at Menlo Park marked E ## 2nd Those articles that were bought by the Edison Co for use in the Testing Room, marked E. C. ## 3rd Those articles of which I am doubtful, marked ? ## Amongst the latter will appear several lots of lamps, and as these were bought by Edison Co for testing the Dynamo they are doubtless all used up by this time"
