"Forty five hundred shares of the Capital Stock of this Company having been issued to Mr. Edward H. Johnson in consideration of his assignment of Two Patents on Electrical Conductors, numbered respectively 354,320. and 359,726. and four thousand shares thereof having been donated by Mr. Johnson to the Stockholders of this Company rateably, pursuant to which donation I the undersigned have been tendered Nine hundred and thirty three and one third -- shares of the Capital stock of this Company. ## This is to Certify, that I have received and accepted the stock so tendered, and have ratified and do hereby ratify and approve in all respects the issueing and distribution of the said forty five hundred shares of stock."
