- "In accordance with the resolution passed at the recent meeting of the Association of Edison Illuminating Companies, covering the general conditions under whch the new lamp is to be furnished to Illuminating Companies, it was provided that a Committee should meet to formulate the necessary rules and regulations, and to formulate such general methods as it is deemed best to have the Inspectors to follow when they visit the various stations. You are respectfully requested to become a member of this Committee, and to attend the meeting of the same on Monday Evening, August 29th, at 5 o'clock p.m. at Room 53, No. 16 Borad Street."
