"I am advised that your Company in Boston are infringing pantent No 327,483 issued to henry C. Spalding under date of September 29, 1885, which patent was assigned to me on or about the 2nd of October 1885. ## I would respectfully request that you give the matter your early attention and make proper settlement for this infringement.
