"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the first meeting of "THE EDISON ILLUMINATING COMPANY OF THE ORANGES, NEW JERSEY" for the purpose of electing directors and officers, and taking such other action as may be necessary to properly organize the said Company, will be held at the residence of Gilbert R. Hawes Linden Place near Ridge Street, in the City of Orange, State of New Jersey, on Tuesday the 11th day October, eighteen hundred and eighty seven at eight o'clock in the evening. ## Dated Orange N.J. October 8th 1887."
