- "I enclose contract relating to Germany. By this is ascent is given to the French Company selling its right in Germany and all share in royalty from Germany is given up in consideration of 40000 francs. ## This contract was done with the assent of Mr. Harjes as being the best under the circumstances. With the contract goes the obligation on the part of the French Company to come to terms with Siemens in Berlin. This is only a verbal understanding but the contract is expressly for the purpose of enabling them to close with Siemens."
