Title
[D8736AAS], Letter from Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, February 22nd, 1887
Editor's Notes
"I have yours of yesterday enclosing Boston Cos note. I return it herewith for discount on Mr Edicons a/c & also a note of Callender Co $391.77 for discount on the same a/c. where is the Light Co settlement. See them again on the receipt of this & try and get cash from them. It is a d---d shame that we should get so little cash. You wired me yesterday that Light Cos settlement would be mailed last night. I presume you took their word for. The only way to do is to wait in their office till you get a settlement. A little strong language to Mr Hastings (if the above is correct) would not be out of place"
