- "I am somewhat short of money today so have drawn a night draft on Thomas A Edison 40 Wall St for $1000 as Treasurer of this Co & have accepted it payable at Germania Bank as Mr. Edisons attorney. I hope you will manage to get me some money from Sprague as I am getting very short & must have funds. It is a case of necessity. I am afraid I shall have to come to New York & stay there till I have sailed through safely I am not getting scared but I am getting considerably worried ## Get all the Paper you can from United Co.
