Title
[D8736AAY], Letter from Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, March 10th, 1887
Editor's Notes
"The Germania bank has a note for $2,939. for discount on our account and the Eleventh Ward has one for $2,940. for discount on our account. We have large balances in both of these banks, and our lines of discount have been somewhat reduced. Under these circumstances, I shall be very much disappointed if these two banks do not discount the notes above referred to. I write this so as to remind you to follow up the Cashiers of both of these banks in case on your telephoning to-morrow yiou find that the notes have not been accepted."
