"I enclose herewith statement against the Sprague Electric Railway & Motor Co. amounting to $3,854.09 As you will see the average due date is April 12th., and the account is therefore now overdue. Please hand this statement to their bookkeeper personally, in order that it reaches the proper party. Should you obtain a note in settlement be sure and see that it is with interest, and do not let them do what they did last month. I also enclose statement against Messrs. Bergman & Co. amounting to $227.43, for which please get their check. Immediately you have succeeded in getting a settlement with these people, kindly mail same to me here. Trusting to hear from you as to these matters by return."
