Title
[D8737AAH], Letter from Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, February 15th, 1887
Editor's Notes
"We have your favor of the 8th. Inst., as to test of condensers. ## One of these condensers was tested in Brooklyn, but the record of same has been lost. We do, however, remember that the insulation was good and the capacities of the different divisions closely proportioned to the figures stamped. We do not remember how closely that total capapcity agreed with the marked capacity. ## The other condensers has been tested here and shows good insulation (24 meg-ohms). Capacity of divisions closely proportioned to figures marked. ## Actual total capacity 3.28 M. F. ## Nominal total capacity 3 1/4 M. F. ## Both good condensers."
