- "Your Mr Tate called on me at St James hotel some 3 weeks ago at which time I explained what I wanted ## Mr Tate promised me to see you & to give me a proposition in a day or so after that twice. ## I have visited your Wall St office repeatedly since that time leaveing verbal & written messages every twice asking for some sort of an explanation which I have not received in any shape up to this twice ## My proposition to Mr Tate was for the Controll of your separating machine for working Iron sands in the U.S. and Controll of machine for all purposes west of the Mississippi river & in Mexico -- being backed by strong financial resources makes it possible for me to do you good as well as myself please let me have promptly some sort of a reply"
