Title
[D8748AAK], Letter from Thomas Bernardr Connery to Thomas Alva Edison, June 13th, 1887
Editor's Notes
"I was glad to receive yesterday your favor of June 2d in re Ore Milling Stock. To hear from you is a sure sign, I hope, that the reports about your ill health have been greatly exagerated. ## The contents of your letter, however, disappointed me, because I gathered therefromm that the stock is at present worthless, having only a propsective value. ## Would your invention have value here, do you think, if applied in the mining sections, and if so could I show it in any way, so as to make it mutually advantageous? If so, and you can send me all the necessary diagrams and explanations that I might be asked about, I will do all in my power, consistent with my official position. ## I hope you will give the thing a shove ahead, [--------] induced one of my friends to invest in it at a very high figure ($500 a share I believe) and I would not like him to be a loser. ## I hope you health is completely restored."
