- "In the Telephone interferences, Counsel for Gray are desirous of taking steps to reopen the whole matter. I have seen Mr. Buckingham, but de does not seem to favor the action suggested. As I have stood in an awkward position to properly prosecute matters in your behalf in these cases, counsel for Bell Co. having substantially assumed control of proceedings and dictate generally, the present is to ask you to let me know as early as possible what your views and wishes are in the matter."
