[Letterhead: John B. Everett, Mason and Builder] Mentions letter he received from Taft [see:D8755ABB] and is perplexed by Taft's complaints about his work. He wants to avoid any problems with Taft and says that TAE will be happy with his work when he is done with it. He mentions that he will do whatever it takes but is not happy receiving these letters from Taft.
