- Mentions that he will see the mason about [unclear]. Has not received the drawings for the chimney [unclear]. Mentions that Batchelor was supposed to see Vail about these drawings but Taft will go to see Holly about the drawings. Next he discusses the library and mentions he did not know the railings in the galleries were made of iron. Both he and TAE agree that wood would be better. He has not ordered the [unclear] pipe for [unclear]. He meant to get the drawings for the steam fitting but was so busy he was unable.
