Title
[D8756AAF], Letter from Lalance and Grosjean Manufacturing Co to Charles Batchelor, May 23rd, 1887
Editor's Notes
[Office of the Lalance + Grosjean Mfg. Co.] "Answering your favor of the 21st inst., would say that our enamel fuses at about 1800 to 2000 degrees of heat. We are therefore unable to enamel on brass or copper; it can only be applied to sheet iron. The enamel can be put on thick or thin, just as desired. Kindly give us a description of what it is that you wish enameled, and we will advise you whether we can undertake the work, and about what the probable cost will be.
