- Title
- [D8756ACU], Letter from Eimer and Amend to Thomas Alva Edison, October 1st, 1887
- Editor's Notes
- [Letterhead: Office of Elmer and Amend] Talks about a Mr. Neustadt who showed TAE a selection of platinum, nickel ware, and filter papers. They did not know TAE was building a new laboratory or otherwise they would have invited him to look over their offerings. Per TAE's request they are attaching a platinum ware circular. The letter discusses the particulars. They also send a copy of their German Stoneware catalogue. Before closing the letter they try to sell TAE on chemicals and offer discounts. Finally, they were "offended" that TAE did not seek them out first when seeking to fulfill his needs.
