- Editor's Notes
- Lets TAE know that his goods are arriving and they are sending them out at "the lowest possible rate of duty and giving them our careful attention." They also include a blueprint of a hydraulic press from the Societe Genevoise [?] that is used with the Caillietet apparatus. Wants to know if they can accept the appratus now. They plan on displaying some of their smaller items at the Electrical Exhibition. Notes that C.H. Richardson is no longer with the company but they will forward the letters to him. They also include circulars from William Thomson's new instruments. They include in the letter a photograph of Edelmen's Apparatus. Mentions that the price has risen for a few of their items recently. Finally, the chemical order is going to be handled by J.C. English.
