- [Letterhead: B.F. Goodrich Co.] Sends a sample of their 2 1/2 inch 4 ply white anchor fire hose along with a quote of "$1 per foot or 95 cts. Without less 10%" Letter goes on to describe the hose's performance and warranty information. Letter goes on to say that they will provide a 1 1/4 inch 4 ply, with cuoplings for .47cts per foot net. 3 ply for 38 cts. They have also included a 2 1/2 inch 4 ply sample which would cost 67 1/2 cts. Per foot net, or 62 1/2 cts. Without. They also recommend buying a white anchor if the hose is to be used for fire protection. Included is an itemized list of play pipes and their cost depending on the amount needed.
