Title
[D8802ABL], Letter from Edison Electric Light Co of Philadelphia, William Dennis Marks to John Kruesi, Edison Machine Works, November 10th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"We stand in the greatest need of 8 base frames. Can you not ship them to us? Bergmann refuses to bid on Commutator boards and fixutres for equalizers on account of not getting the whole job. ### I found that I could get frames, castings and wire for each at $20. in Phila. and naturally ordered them. I will not repeat all the uncomplimentary things he asserts as to my engineering knowledge but as fully prepared to shoulder all blame if I am deficient in ability to calculate an Equalizer. I have ordered Edison's bust sent to Machine Works, I am" Very truly yours (Signed) Wm. D. Marks, Sup. Eng'r.
