Title
[D8802ABN], Letter from William Dennis Marks, Edison Electric Light Co of Philadelphia to Edison Machine Works, Samuel Insull, November 13th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"In reply to yours of even date per telegraph I would say that yesterday Iplaced order with Oat & Sons of this City for Equalizers, but of course preferring to deal with you have cancelled same and drawings by Express to Schenectady. I am glad that you are willing to do the work and avoid forcing me into the general field. I really think that you will like the Equalizers very much. I also send my reply to Bergmann & Co. You will see that the parts not ordered of you are really quite rought work. I regret the apparent impossibility of dealing with Bergmann & Co." Yours truly, (Signed) Wm. D. Marks, Sup. Eng'r.
