Title
[D8802ABP], Letter from Edison Machine Works, Samuel Insull to Edison Electric Light Co, Edward Hibberd Johnson, November 19th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I beg to enclose you herewith correspondence I have had with Prof. Marks. Prof. Marks told me that Bergmann had refused to do certain work, and asked me if I would do it. I said that I would, providing Bergmann had refused. On reading over Bergmann & Company's letter it does not appear to me that it is a point-blank refusal of the work, and this pleases me in a somewhat peculiar position. I send you the correspondence, and will do whatever you say in relation to the matter." Yours truly, Sam'l Insull Enc.
