Title
[D8802ABR], Letter from Sigmund Bergmann to Edison Electric Light Co, Edward Hibberd Johnson, November 20th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"Regarding the accompanying we have to say, that if our contract with the Edison Electric Light Co. does not give us the right to refuse to estimate on portions of patented apparatus if the balance is made elsewhere, and we are given no opportunity to make the same, then we will estimate on and offer to make the apparatus wanted by Prof. Marks. If it does, which is the way we construe it, then we cannot [unclear] the stand which we have taken in ours of the 9th inst. to the Philadelphia Co." Yours very truly, Bergmann & Co. S. Bergmann, Treas. ["Incl. McCelment What does the contract say on this head? E.H.J."]
